Antenna

Our hybrid antenna is calibrated to measure radio frequency (RF) emissions from 30 megahertz (MHz) to 6 gigahertz (GHz). The antenna mast and turntable are remotely controlled allowing emission maximisation to be achieved in accordance with national and international EMC standards, by altering the height and polarity of the antenna while rotating the orientation of the test item.

Turntable

The five-metre (16.4 feet) turntable is a custom feature that provides Tritium with the ability to test a full high-powered charging system, consisting of the charger itself and an accompanying power cabinet. The turntable includes integrated power and signal connectivity.

Antenna

Furnished with a remote-controlled antenna mast and turntable, our system facilitates emission maximization while adhering to national and international EMC standards. This optimization involves dynamically adjusting the antenna's height and polarity and concurrently rotating the test item to ensure precise orientation.

Integrated Video Feed

The integrated video feed allows to remotely
monitor tests from a safe environment.

EMC Chamber Door

The electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) chamber door also has cones to suppress or eliminate unwanted radiation and prevent the radiation from reflecting off the chamber walls, producing a more accurate EMC test.

Horn Antenna

We possess a Horn Antenna capable of operating within the frequency range of 1.0 gigahertz (GHz) to 40 gigahertz (GHz).

RF Absorber Cones

On this shelf we store our radio

frequency (RF) absorber cones. These

cones are a key component for

radiated immunity testing to the IEC

61000-4-3 standard. The cones

prevent radio frequency reflections off

the ground plane and produce a more

accurate electromagnetic compatibility

(EMC) test.
